Difficult Conversations 1

In our Saturday night connection, we are studying the book Difficult Conversations. We decided that we wanted to pick up a text that would aid us in our personal lives, home lives, work lives and interactions with the world. With every page turn, I have imagined a specific time I have felt a certain way or said a certain thing. But as the apostle Paul said, “I have got to put away my childish ways.” If we learn to face conflict, we may find that there is Love, Grace and Hope we’ve never known. The challenge today is to be shaped, not by the difficulty, but the conversation. Have you had an ‘a-ha’ moment in recent days? Have you considered the relationships around you, are you affecting positive, on-going conversations that deepen your friendships and partnerships? Now is the time to dust your self off and engage conflict wherever it may lie.
